YYYYO Youth mentor sessions for people in London

YYYYO Policy

Reviewed September 2025

Payment / Refund

Full payment for YYYYO mentor sessions are payable before the session has been conducted.

Payments for YYYYO mentor sessions are eligible for refund if the booking has been withdrawn two hours or more before the start of the session.

Request for refunds after the specified two hours before the booked session would not be processed. The reasons for this, though do not limit to, could be because of the preparation required before a mentor session, or that someone else could have booked the session. Explanation though is not a requirement.

If you have paid for the mentor session, though need to rearrange, your payment does remain eligible for the session to be rearranged at no extra cost.

If the mentor needs to withdraw or reschedule the booking, the client is eligible for full a refund if preferred.

If the client needs to unexpectedly leave the session, the session could be rescheduled at no further cost.

If the client does not show for their booked session, the client has the option to reschedule the session on two other occasions for that specific booking.

If the client receiving the mentor session chooses to leave the session earlier, full payment is still required for that session.

If the mentor concludes the session before the 30 minute point, full payment is still required.

If the client is unsatisfied with their mentor session and would like a refund of the session amount, this would be considered around the reasons of the request that the client must highlight on the refund request form.

Before the Session

The online Zoom sessions require use of your wifi data. How much data is used should be clarified through your data provider.

YYYYO Mentor is not responsible for how much data you use during the Zoom session.

Please ensure that your environment is free from distractions for the full duration of your mentor session.

Please ensure that you have a strong and sustained connection on the computer or phone prior of the session.

Please join through your unique Zoom link at least 3 minutes before the start of your booked session.

If there are issues with the Zoom platforms connectivity that affects the quality of the session, the session might be re booked.

The Expectations of the Session

The YYYYO mentor sessions are not for obtaining quick ‘on the spot’ information with various other resources for the issues that you might have or for the goals that you're hoping to progress further to.

This does not though suggest that the mentor does not have solutions to resolve the issues that you might have, nor does it suggest that the mentor does not have solutions to help you achieve your goals.

The mentor sessions are for you to speak openly about your situation, then clarifying the goals that are the priority to you.

A structured approach is then established, as the mentor works with you to achieve the objectives that have been confirmed.

On occasions the duration of the YYYYO mentor session might not run the full 30 minutes specified. For example, this could be because a conclusion point has been established around the clients objectives with other tasks that are required to progress further to achieve the goals of the client.

The research with other time consuming tasks that the YYYYO Mentor might need to conduct to support the client to achieve their goals, has been structured into the Session Pricing, so this could be the purpose for the shorter session duration. There are no hidden costs.

Only the client receiving support from YYYYO Mentor should be present during the session, unless the client would like a supporting adult with them.

If the client is late for the session, the session does not then continue after the established 30 minute session, due to other bookings.

Client information is safely stored. The clients personal details with other potentially sensitive session information is never sold to a third party.
